When requesting a quotation, please include the following information:
- Number of conductor layers.
- Size of board (length x width, in inches or mm.)
- Material type (standard is FR-4 laminated glass-epoxy)
- Material thickness (standard is 0.062")
- Copper thickness (Laserlab standard is 1.5 Oz.)
- Number of hole sizes. (typical is 4-6 distinct hole diameters)
- Approximate number of holes per board.
- Are holes plated through? (for boards with two layers only; single-sided are not plated, multilayer always are)
- Minimum trace width
- Minimum gap width (the space between traces and pads)
- Diameter of smallest via. (pad and hole diameters)
- Any gold or other special plating for edge fingers, etc.?
- Legend (silkscreen) on one or both sides?
- Solder mask on one or both sides?
- Quantity of boards needed (minimum and maximum)
- Delivery schedule
